Getting started: Using the Act-On rules menu
There are a number of different ways to get to and use the
Act-On rules menu.
Via the Main Menu
Tap the F1 key to access the Act-On Main Menu. (Depending on your system preferences, you may need to use the fn +F1 key combination).
Then use the cursor, arrow key or the listed shortcut key for Rules to access the Act-On Rules menu. Tap the return key if using an arrow key.
Use the cursor, arrow key or the listed shortcut key to choose a rule. Tap the return key if using an arrow key.
The actions of the rule will now be carried out.
Go straight to the Apply Act-On Rule Menu
Tap the F2 key to go to the Act-On Rule Menu. This direct option allows you to save time should you need to apply a variety of rules to messages.
The Rules menu is also helpful in the odd instance when you've assigned multiple rules for a single keystroke, and want to apply only one of those rules.
Tip: Save even more time and use the control key combo
Note: use the control key once you remember the Act-On Key for a rule. For example, if the Act-On key is A, then ctrl-A will apply the rule.
The control key combo is the most time efficient way to apply Act-On Rules.
