To custom organize your list of Keyword and Project Tags
The default setting for newly created keyword and project tags puts the newest tag to the bottom of the list. If you have a lot of tags this may not be so desirable. In this case you can create alphabetic and custom organized lists by going into your Mail Preferences.
To arrange an alphabetic list
• Open Mail Preferences.
• Click on the MailTags icon, and then choose either the Keywords or Project tab. Go to the preferences symbol and click on 'sort' to automatically sort your tags by alphabetic order.
To set up a customized order
You can also use Preferences to set a customized order of keyword and project tags, specially tailored to your work flow. For example, put the most commonly used keyword or project to the top of the list, and least commonly used at the bottom.
Simply click and drag the list items into the desired order in the preferences panel shown above.
Note: The new order is instantly recognized. You don't have to restart Mail.
