Choose which projects will copy tags to replies or incoming answers.

   You can do this with the Originating project (or keyword) criteria on inbox rules.
   and turning off the inherit option.
   eg
   

   Critieria
   [originating project] [equals] [myProject]
   --------------
   Actions
   [set Mailtags Project] [myProject]

   unfortunately, you would have to make an inbox rule for each project you want to do this to.

   I am look at adding rule actions to be more general:
   for example

   Critieria  (Any apply)
   [originating project] [equals] [Project A]
   [originating project] [equals] [Project B]
   --------------
   Actions
   [Inherit MailTags Project]

   Seems to be a good future approach; although settings per project would be easier to handle. Thanks.
