Messages not displaying tags

Hey MailTags gurus,

Strange, strange, strange. When I try to set MailTags Project to None, it doesn't work. And yes, I'm using the latest build of the software (MailTags 10.6 Compatibility Release 5).

Anyone else have this problem?

It's a bit annoying because what I have Smart Mailboxes set up for each of my projects. When I'm done with a piece of mail, I just use quickkeys to invoke the "set MailTags Project to None" to remove that item from the smart mailbox. So with the above glitch, I can't easily process through my workflow.

My kludgy ass workaround is to just set the MailTags Project to some other Project ("Done" for example) to get it out my space.

   I appreciate all your efforts to resolve this issue. And, I need to draw a boundary here -- feels like more energy than I want to spend right now. I will likely circle back to this at some point, but I gotta get back to work. If you go back through the thread of this discussion, it all started with me mentioning one specific bug. When I posted that bug, I didn't anticipate it would lead to such a long and protracted back and forth.

   I'm going to archive the comments you made, and may make an attempt at later, but just don't have the time right now.

   Best of luck fixing and debugging MT for a public release. I greatly look forward to the day it works stably and properly with the latest OS.

   As I look thru my various mailboxes, there are a huge number of messages with missing tags (Thousands of them). I know they were tagged. It isn't affecting all the mailboxes, but most of them. In some there are absolutely no tags and in others the fallout seems to be "age related"-- a date after which there are no tags. Not only missing in the mailbox view but not showing up searching either. I'll reserve panic and hope this is something simple but......
