Crashes when saving drafts in Imap/icloud server [1640] [NSAutoreleasePool drain]
This comment was split from the discussion: MailTags crashes - Lion
I have been using 1615 for the past few days and continue to have a number of crashes a day. I have attached the most recent crash log. These tend to occur during composition of a message and do not typically involve the act of applying tags. I am not positive it is related to MailTags, but the crash frequency has not been a problem prior to 1615.

Thanks -- not seen this in any form before -- can you keep running and see what happens.

Hi Norm
Any more crashes from the build I sent late last week?
Thanks
Scott

No, but I've been traveling and have not been using the computer as much as usual.

Hi Norm
Here is another build to test for the crash -- I am slowing getting there and this one seems to be a little better for releasing memory at the right time..

Hi Scott,
Another crash tonight. First in a few days. Again, this occurred during creation of a message with saving a draft on my iCloud account.
I've attached the console messages preceding the crash as well as the crash report info in the attached RTF file.

Hi,
Running 1668 and 10.7.3. Had another Mail crash this morning when waking from sleep. Have attached the console entries from wake until crash and the crash log as a single RTF.
Note the entries in Thread 18, which have some errors related to IMAP and data loading. I was not composing a message when this occurred. I believe I had switched out of Mail and was updating some software from the Mac App Store, when Mail crashed.

Hello Norm,
Thanks for the crash log. We've been plugging away at solving this bug, and have a new build:

Please test and let us known if this build resolves these issues.

Is that the 3.1 preview? No crashes over the past several builds.
Thanks,
Norm

Hi Norm
Actually if you could test it because I am reintroducing some code I removed to address the crashes -- I am pretty sure the code was not implicated in the crashes but I want to double check with a few people to make sure that I am not taking 2 steps back.
