Tag Icon Real Estate
With the new build you have MailTags popup - fine (I liked it better the other way but can live with it) - BUT - you are not giving me back real estate and keep that wide grey area to the right - with nothing more than an arrow and the plus minus and collapsed info.
Please consider a collapsed version that will only show the tip of the arrow or something - as clicking the + anyhow opens the popup more is not needed and it gives back precious real estate on the screen.

Never mind - I did realize that if nothing is active it will show the arrow 'collapsed' as before.
I guess, what remains IS that I liked it better NOT to popup.

Hello Marlyse,
To conserve even more screen space go to MailTags preferences and deselect the option to show tag icon in message viewers (see the attached screenshot)
We'll need you to clarify what you mean by popup. Screenshots would help (command shift 4, then copy and paste)
thanks,
Petra

Hi Scott -
Ah, THERE the preference for it - did not associate :)
Anyways, I AM talking about the last release (I updated this morning to it).
Before, when clicking the + it would open the panel "inline" which I liked (the panel to set tags, events, tasks, notes etc.) but now clicking onto the + pops it up in a ... popup.
I had liked the version before this last update better. I know, I know, just one opinion of many.
Hope this now makes more sense.
Thanks for listening!

Hi Marlyse,
Yes, that makes more sense now. The inline version had a few fans. But most people, seem to prefer the popup so that's where we'll keep things for now.
