Crash [1678]
This comment was split from the discussion: Crash [1615]
Mail crashes regularly when I try to close the Mail Window after
having used MailTags. See enclosed log. I am using 3.0b1526.
Also "Copy Keyword to Replies" doesn't seem to work.

Since I downloaded the latest build I just experienced only one crash. So it's much better.
I will try the new build, and report if there are any problems.

I'm experiencing crashes that Lion blames on MailTags, too. Am running 3.0b1668, but will try the build shared in this forum on 2/7.

Used the latest on 2/7. Still crashing.
Need this resolved as losing time spent in creating an email is counter-productive.

Wow...this is even worse. Crashes every 3 minutes. Who do I see about a refund here???

@K Rockwell
We are working hard on getting the crashes resolved.
Can you confirm that you're running the most recent internal build:

I am running that version...still seeing crashes every 3 minutes.
Support Staff 16 Posted by petra on 09 Feb, 2012 06:11 PM
@K Rockwell
Thanks for the confirmation on the build. We are putting together a rolled back version to the last stable release for those people experiencing continuing crash issues, and that version should be out later on today. We'll send it your way as soon as it's ready.

I've been following the various threads for various builds and I'm up to 1678 and still crashing nearly every time I compose a message. I get a few sentences into a reply, beach ball and crash. I'd very much like to be informed of the rolled back version to install when that is available.
(haven't saved a crash log, but will next time)
Thanks,
Jenn

Thanks Petra. As an app dev I know the pain at times like this.

Hope this comes soon. I am about 10 minutes away from uninstalling and working to get refunds. I can't have my email shutting down every 3 minutes or whenever I compose a message.
Support Staff 21 Posted by petra on 09 Feb, 2012 08:54 PM
Hello,
We're wanting to resolve the remaining crash issues as quickly as possible and have posted the rollback at the following link.
Please note that the build for the rollback is not fully tested since we cannot reproduce this issue from our end of things, and that we're needing constructive feedback.
If you're having crash problems with b1678 and don't feel comfortable downloading an untested rollback then please uninstall MailTags for the time being, and reinstall when the rollback is confirmed to work.
